To celebrate her eighteenth birthday, a young guest decided to gift herself — and her friends — a truly fairy-tale party.
Set in the evocative Serre Ratti venue, the event was transformed into an immersive journey through enchanted worlds and dreamlike settings, thanks to the creative and technical work of La Bottega della Musica – Event Factory, among the leading theme party organizers on Lake Como.
A setup between dream and spectacle
The venue, with its wide glass walls and open spaces, was enhanced by a bespoke light design: architectural perimeter lighting, dedicated scenic spots, and dynamic lights on the dance floor all helped create a dreamy, vibrant, and enveloping atmosphere.
White drapes suspended from truss structures illuminated with fiber optics amplified the magic, turning the entrance into a true portal to another dimension.
A background audio system provided sound coverage across every area of the location, ensuring a perfect ambient soundtrack and professional support for the DJ set that kept the evening alive.
Fairy tales, mystery, and wonder: a multi-dimensional party
Guests were invited to explore thematic stations that brought to life a rich, multisensory experience:
- Game tables with roulette and blackjack run by professional croupiers, for a taste of casino excitement.
- Fortune teller corner, offering tarot and palm readings in a space filled with lighting effects and floral sculptures, evoking an atmosphere of mystery and magic.
- Hookah lounge, with cushions, carpets, and tropical details — a relaxing corner with scented smoke and floral décor.
- Christmas corner, featuring gingerbread houses, decorated trees, and an artificial snowfall that turned the space into a winter fairy tale full of warm lights and sweet details.
- Witch & Wizard area, with smoking cauldrons and themed food and drinks, where the catering team prepared magical potions live for a striking visual and sensory effect.
Artistic roaming performances made the atmosphere even more theatrical: guests encountered characters like the White Rabbit, the Mad Hatter, Scrooge, and various Witches — all played by professional actors in costume and thematic accessories.
Spectacular moments followed one another throughout the evening: acrobatic performances, bubble machines, artificial snow in the Christmas area, and finally, a colorful kabuki explosion during the cake cutting.
